2011 FALL CONFERENCE

Thanks to the sold-out crowd of over 300 philanthropic and nonprofit leaders who turned out on November 3rd for our 2011 fall conference. We were thrilled by the tremendous interest in attending this year's event! From the moving words of our poets and stage-setting remarks from William Penn Foundation president Jeremy Nowak, to the compelling dialogue of our conversation and audience participants, to the humorous and insightful commentary by Paul Light, we've heard you found the program engaging, thought-provoking, and energizing. One attendee commented about her experience:

Setting the Stage
Jeremy Nowak, President and CEO of the William Penn Foundation, shared some of the key themes -- such as innovation, legacy and focus on outcomes --that are informing his foundation's strategic planning process.

Dr. Paul C. Light entertained, enlightened and challenged attendees with his insightful and candid commentary on the state of the nonprofit sector. Dr. Light is introduced by DVG executive director Debra Kahn.
